Memorial Day Weekend at Lake Eleanor in Yosemite

Last year we had so much fun at Lake Eleanor that we have to do it again this year.
What a great way to spend the 3 day weekend.Once again we値l bring a few kayaks with us. We値l bring a bunch of great food, and we値l all have a great time. With all the late season snow we are getting we池e not even thinking of backpacking to Kibbie Lake this time!
We値l start on Saturday with a short, 2 mile hike into camp. If you are bringing a canoe or kayak you can paddle right to our campsite! Once camp is set up, we値l have the rest of the 3 day weekend to hike, paddle and explore the northwest corner of Yosemite.
If the trail conditions allow, we値l make another charge to Kibbie Lake as a day trip from our camp. If not, there is a nearby waterfall to explore, as well as miles and miles of hiking trails that take off from the lake. If that seems like too much effort on this weekend, no problem. Sit back in camp with a book, and really relax. Relax like you haven稚 allowed yourself to relax in a long time.No appointments, no cell phones, nothing you have to do all weekend long. Enjoy!
We値l bring along a couple of kayaks for you to use as well. the paddling is easy around the lake. Take an early morning paddle as the sun is rising and you値l remember why you came to the woods. The peace and the natural beauty is truly amazing.
On Monday, you値l have the option of leaving early, or stretching your time in the woods as long as you壇 like. Whatever you think will make the weekend perfect.
