Alamere Waterfall Hike in Point Reyes

hiking in pt reyes Hike with us to the bay area's beach waterfall in Point Reyes. The waterfall tumbles down Alamere Creek, over an ocean bluff, then falls 40 feet to the beach. It's a combination of beautiful scenery along the coast, a great hike, and a chance to meet other people in the club. This 8 mile trail is an out and back trip with approximately 500 feet of elevation gain.

The hike includes a tasty picnic lunch either by the falls or on the beach, an experienced guide familiar with the area, and great company! Although the hike does have a few ups and downs, it is fairly level and is considered an easy hike.

After the hike, we can head into Bolinas for a refreshing beverage. Hanging out after the hike is a great way to get to know your fellow hikers!

Clothes appropriate for the weather (avoid wearing cotton)
Appropriate footwear
2 liters of water
A small daypack to hold your water and spare clothing layers
