Sea Kayaking Weekend in Mendocino

July 17-18, 2010 (camping Friday & Sat, kayaking Sat & Sun)

ocean kayaking trip We're going sea kayaking on the Mendocino Coast! We'll have two days of great paddling as we explore the rocky coast, inlets, and sea caves in the area. We also have the option of paddling calmer waters in the estuary if the ocean is too rough for our planned itinerary. We'll be ready for anything.

We've put together an incredible guiding team for the weekend. Richard will be joined by Roger for this trip. Roger literally wrote the books on Sea Kayak Recovery and Rescue, as well as the guide book for paddling the California coast. Together they will take you paddling along the beautiful and rugged Mendocino coastline, and make sure you are well taken care of in camp.

This trip is our introduction to the Mendocino Coast trip. Paddling experience is required and will make your weekend more enjoyable. You'll have the option of "challenge by choice" on this trip. There will be the option to challenge yourself in less protected water, or taking it easy in more sheltered water.

Includes:

Two days of guided kayaking, with ACA trained kayak guides.
Kayaks, and all the necessary gear for paddling
Camping fees for Friday and Saturday nights
Breakfast in camp on Saturday and Sunday
Lunch on Saturday and Sunday
Dinner on Saturday night will be in town, and is not included in the trip
Carpool list so you can arrange rides to the trip
