Raft the North Fork of the American River - Members Appreciation Trip
May 8, 2011
This is a truly memorable and classic Northern California run and we are offering it to our members for only $30 because we appreciate you.
The American is a Wild and Scenic River that comes alive in the spring. With the snow pack we've had this year, the river will be running strong. Towering cliffs and 2,000 foot canyon walls make this one of the most beautiful Northern California river canyons.
The North Fork of the American is an awesome Class 4 ride that will have you clinging to your paddle as you experience drops such as Chamberlain Falls, and ultimately grinning from ear to ear.
Even though this is a Class 4 run and some experience is generally recommended, many athletic beginners have started on this river and have become hooked! Our experienced guides will provide paddling instruction and guidance, and make sure you enjoy your day.
Meet at 9:00 a.m. in Colfax, off Hwy 80 East of Auburn. Finish mid to late afternoon.

Includes:
- A full day of guided rafting and all gear
- Wetsuits are available to rent (let us know your height and weight when you make your reservation for your wetsuit)
- Gourmet lunch on the river
- A carpool list so you can arrange rides to the trip
